Named after Bruce Wayne and Vicky Vale, Vintage February 2003!

March 2008

The cats were showered with presants this Christmas. Here's a good one of Vicky enjoying the scratcher that Gandma and Grandpa made them:

September, 2007

Bruce is trying to convey that he didn't want her to sleep on his tail, but she's too cute to move.

Here Bruce is trying to decide if the fire is worth the risk to get the chocolaty goodness of cake - thanks for the pic, Jay!

I figured an updated pic of Vickers would be nice. She's acutally bee out a lot more with the kitties in the house...... which is awesome!

We are soo proud of Brucie! The new kittens have made him quite the gentleman. He's also on a weight loss program and losing nicely. Not that he'll really get smaller ever. Since he was in the hospital, he has been more tolerant of my hugs!

July 2007

Bruce has been having some urinary problems that we are trying to work out. But, I found some old fun pics of the kitties I thought I could put up.

June 2007

Bruce weighs in at 25 odd lbs at the vet currently. Vicky is at 15 lbs, but they are both healthy. We have switched over their food from Science Diet Adult to EVO dry kibble in the evening and Merrik's Thanksgiving Day Dinner canned food in the mornings. My friend Jen found an article about making cats "work" for their food. We are going to try it. Apparently all I need to do is cut holes in empty plastic water bottles, that are just big enough to allow a piece of their kibble to pass through, so they have to bat the bottles around to get their food. I got some cute little bottles and drank one today so we'll see how it goes.

May 2006

Our cats have moved with us to WI, and are enjoying much more space. Here is a photo of Brucie playing cars with my nephews Dominik and Donovan.

In order to help my nephews understand the cats, I wrote them a book about the cats. You can find it here... granted it's a little shrunken.

October 2003

The kids are now 8 months old, and have been growing like weeds. When Bruce had a little eye issue, our vet said that Bruce might have been the biggest kitty he’d seen for 7 months old. Bruce’s eye healed quickly, but I am still amazed he’s over 17lbs. Vicky is a healthy 14 lbs. We have big kitties!!

The dog that they are playing with here is their new chew toy. The dog is 13 inches from snout to bum, and 8 inches tall at the shoulder. Not exactly small. Enjoy!!

4/24/03. Well, the kids are settleing in, getting the litter box thing down pat, and having some fun. Thier names are Bruce and Vicki. Bruce is the tuxedo. They are hard to photograph, but I hope that the new pics can show you how much they've grown!! They are tons of funs!!

4/12/03 Here they are!! They joined our family this morning at 10:00. Their estimated birthday is February 17. Right now they are chilling on the couch! So Sweet! Once they tell us their names, we'll let you know!

On Saturday April 5, we found out that the kittens are probably ready to come home on Saturday the 12th!! We are sooo excited for the little guys. People have been asking about names, and we have not picked any, as we need to spend some time with them first. Pictures will be up shortly after we get home that day!! :
On 3-21-03 we selected our new kitties!! They will be coming soon! They are a little brother and sister combo that were rescued by one of the members of Safe Haven for Cats, they are a San Francisco/Bay Area kitty rescue orginazation. www.safehavenforcats.com.
When we saw them, they got bottle fed, and were rearing to go!! So cute, and little only 1pound and 2oz!! :)
I think that the kitties in the top pictures on the safe haven for cats site are the other half of our new kittie's litter. They were divided up to get better care. This is what are little guys are looking like right now, though!!

August 2003

Vicky is all black, and Bruce is the tuxedo.
