This year for Halloween I sewed myself a fortune teller's costume, and Jay was the Joker. We spent some time at a pumpkin patch with my family, hosted a Pumpkin Carving party, went to a costume party and decorated the house for trick or treaters. We actually had around 60ish kids this year. It was very cool. I got to see some really cute costumes.

Here are a few more of my costume - one showing my favorite impulse purchase for this costume, my striped legwarmers, and the other with my crystal ball.

Jay and I went to Random Lake to a pumpkin farm with my family. We went through the corn maze and took the hay ride to pick pumpkins in the patch. It was a beautiful day and we had fun.

We hosted our first Pumpkin Carving Party this year - here are some pics from that event:

Lisa and Kyle carved pumpkins. It was Ryan's birthday, but he and Stacy managed to encourage the carvers and share in the beautiful evening.

Jim did the spider on the Left, our 4 cats are on the pumpkin next to that, I used a dremmel tool to just scratch off the rind, Next is J's large nose pumpkin, then Tricia's smiling pumpkin and a more traditional jack-o-lantern that I made. Kyle made the smiling face down on the ground there.
